Our Camps

Rackets Academy is a specially designed sports coaching holiday camp programme for children aged 5-11 years. The children are split into groups suitable for their age and ability - Academy Champs (5-7 yrs) & Academy Pros (8-11 yrs).

We focus on a specific sports such as Tennis, Rugby, Football and Cricket, as well as developing key skills such as balance, agility and co-ordination which can be used across all sports.

Rugby Academy

Our experienced coaches will teach the essential skills such as; teamwork, accurate catching, passing and running with the ball. Whether you're a beginner or an aspiring star, you'll have the chance to develop your techniques in a fun and supportive environment throughout the week.

Tennis Academy

Academy Tennis is our longest standing sport. With our expert programme and trained coaches, Rackets Academy will guide children through the main essential skills and 6 strokes of tennis - forehands, backhands, forehand volleys, backhand volleys, smash, serves.

Football Academy

Academy Football is designed to introduce young players to the essential skills of the game, focusing on key football fundamentals like shooting, dribbling, passing and receiving. Through fun and engaging drills, children will develop coordination, teamwork, and a love for the sport. Each session is tailored to their age and skill level. On Fridays, we’ll put everything they’ve learned into practice during a friendly showcase where they can demonstrate newfound abilities in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Cricket Academy

Academy Cricket focuses on exploring and developing fundamental skills in batting, bowling and fielding. Using our specialist children's cricket balls, we focus on developing knowledge of cricket rules and an understanding of cricket strategy and tactics.

Skill Components Circuits

This is a dynamic and fun activity designed to help children improve key components of fitness through a series of engaging drills. Each station in the circuit will focus on a different fitness skill such as agility, balance, coordination and timing. Children will rotate through various exercises that are both challenging and enjoyable, allowing them to build their physical abilities while having fun.

Arts & Crafts

This will be a ‘cooldown’ period where we will dive into hands-on creative projects that spark imagination. This can range from painting, drawing and sculpting to fun seasonal crafts. These adult-led workshops will allow children to build confidence,develop fine motor skills and learn different techniques in order to create projects they will be proud to take home.

Designed for children aged 8-11, our camp is all about honing skills and developing techniques to elevate your game! Under the guidance of our experienced coaches, participants will engage in focused training sessions across multiple sports, ensuring they not only improve but also gain a deeper understanding of each game. With a thoughtfully structured program, campers will have the opportunity to showcase their progress through match play at the end of each week.

GRIFFIN SPORTS CLUB

We are excited to partner with Griffin Sports Club in Dulwich, using their fantastic sporting facilities, including football pitches, tennis courts, cricket nets and their indoor clubhouse hall.
